UNITED STATES RECLAIMS
BROGDEN CUP IN FLORIDA

1/10 Orlando, FL- Gary Davies (left) of Orchard Park and Shawn Needham (right) of Hamburg celebrate a big victory after the United States won a three game series against the Canadian all-star team from Ontario. The victory marked the first time that the US representatitive had beaten our neighbors to the north in over six years. The US team won the first game by a 14-9 score, only to have the Canadians even the series with a 13-8 win the following day. The final game on Sunday saw the Americans post a convincing 14-7 win to bring back the Brogden Cup to the United States. The annual tournament is sponsored by Adidas and Level 2 Sports. The US team was represented by a Rochester based group of players who qualified for the International finals by winning last summer's Adidas National Lacrosse Classic in Baltimore, MD. Congratulations guys on a job well done!
